Arjuna (Terminalia Arjuna) (bark)-Heart tonic, herb that helps maintain a healthy heart and reduces the effects of stress and nervousness. Arjuna promotes effective cardiac functioning and regulates blood pressure. Arjuna improves cardiac muscle function and pumping actions of the heart. Useful in treatment of angina, coronary artery disease, heartfailure, edema, and possibly hypercholesterolemia and gonorrhea.

Note: The ality and part of the plant used are highly important in the manufacturing and processing of herbal powders. Certain parts are more potent and effective than others. Fiber and other unwanted material should be removed as they do not have any herbal properties (except to increase the weight and quantity).
